For those who don't understand Japanese. "Irasshai" (Irasshaimase) if translated to english, it means "welcome." Made this as a tarpaulin for an Open Day for a Japanese school I studied in before.

Painted in Photoshop and Painter.

I really like this piece - especially all the fine detail in the kimono. It's clear that a lot of time went into this just with that alone.

Good job ^_^

The detailing caused my videocard to breakdown that time T__T when I only have few hours left to finish it.

Thanks a lot for appreciating it. :)

Absolutely beautiful. Can I ask you something? Do you sketch it out on paper first or do you just paint straight on the computer.

It depends but most of the time I do it directly on the computer (lazy to scan my image). Thanks again~

Very pretty. I like the colors.

And woot! I could actually read the hiragana!
I'm learning a bit of japanede at the side, but right now I don't want to get involved too much because I need to concentrate on my spanish. But it's nice to know that I can read some words now. Other times I had big problems because some people just write illegibly in japanese. Ever seen that?

Maybe it's a kanji or the other form of writing (have seen those).

Thanks btw. :)
